CHANT3L is a Brooklyn based revolutionary-multidisciplinary artist, using music, art, poetry and the environment to express her free and stylistic sound. Classifying herself as genre-fluid, she uses all styles of music to connect back and influence Hip-Hop and Black Culture. CHANT3L’s community building work garnered her awards for environmental stewardship and city-wide youth and adult programming.

“I'm enjoying the experience of exploring the connection between different musical styles and
Hip-Hop. Embracing artistic exploration, poetry, and fashion to create a multi-dimensional
sensory experience. I've also been layering in my farming experience to influence my
community, showing them the connection between the land, art, music and poetry. Music
originated from the land, from okra used as shakers and animal skins for the first drums. The
spirit of the land is still present in how we respond and relate to music on a chemical level.
Using my grassroots ideology, I seek to break barriers with positive, fun and reflective music.”
