I’m Naombi Greer, a 24-year-old artist from Chicago. I started my art journey in sixth grade by drawing on desks, and when I got to college I transitioned into painting. Two years ago, I began working with mixed media to create surreal, dimensional pieces that feel immersive and almost 3D. My late grandfather introduced me to drawing, which led me to study African American Art history and, through my creative experiences, dive deeper into art history as a whole. I’ve explored different mediums including digital art, live nude painting, printmaking and more. I’ve hosted and participated in art shows. Outside of my studio practice, I’m heavily inspired by fashion, photography, Art Therapy, and  skateboarding , which continue to shape my creative perspective.
