Arielle (they/she) is a Nuyorican and Trinidadian self-taught crochet artist from Orlando, Florida. They enjoy creating pieces for others and herself as an act of love and self care. After learning the matriarchs in their family have a history of crochet passed down through generations of daughters, this loving act became sacred to her. In their clothing, jewelry decorations, and beyond, Arie’s practice weaves queerness, her connection to her ancestors, and love through every stitch.
