Laurel Mora is a Brooklyn based theatre maker from Dallas, Texas. His playwriting career began at Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where he broke the record for most produced plays and earned the Merit and Honorable Mention YoungArts awards for Play/Script for his plays Nuestra Voz and WE’RE STILL HERE respectively. Laurel earned his bachelor’s degree in theater from Fordham University at Lincoln Center. Post graduation, Laurel has written and produced three shows at FRIGID’s Days of the Dead festival.
